How to use this tool

800 DPI at CS2 sensitivity 1 becomes 1600 DPI at sensitivity 0.5. Both configurations are 800 eDPI.

Should I use 400, 800 or 1600 DPI?
There is no universal best setting. Choose an available DPI stage that works well for your mouse and everyday use, then adjust in-game sensitivity to retain your preferred turning distance.
Does doubling DPI mean halving sensitivity?
Yes for the supported linear mouse scales with other settings unchanged. PUBG’s slider is nonlinear, so it needs a different calculation.
Do I need to change Windows pointer speed?
This calculation changes only mouse DPI and game sensitivity. Keep other input settings unchanged; desktop pointer speed is not an input to this tool.
Calculation method & references
New sensitivity = current sensitivity × current DPI ÷ new DPI. This keeps DPI × sensitivity constant within the same game when the input settings stay unchanged.
